So, Im broke and I know its a really awful idea to drive without car insurance, but Im a little unclear about what the rules actually are. I've unsuccessfully tried applying for a Harris County Gold Card and I'm not eligible for medicare. The problem is I'm being supported by my boyfriend and living in his apartment for free. When I applied for the Gold Card, based on my situation, they said that I'm dependent on him and that he would need to show his proof of income. Since he lives off his parents money, he is still considered dependent on them. What are my other options in getting to see a doctor ASAP for cheap/ free? I'm afraid that even if I can afford the initial doctor's appointment, I won't be able to afford my medication or follow ups. Thanks for your help.

okay so heres my story, my dads the only one with auto insurance, mom doesnt drive, and im buying a car soon so if i sign the car under my dads name, does he become primary driver for both cars? or do i become 1 primary driver when im added onto his insurance, or can i be secondary driver with him being signed under both cars? pls help. and how much do you think it would add onto his insurance, im 18 and have my g2, never been insured, and im getting a 2004 acura rsx type s coupe thank you all

Car Insurance when selling Car?

Ok the situation is as follows: I am selling my car for a new one. I have asked my current insurer to transfer my policy to the new car which is fine. However I then questioned about temporarily insuring my old car under the policy and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money for a week - I also do not know how long it will take to sell the car. I questioned the amount and asked what customers generally do when they wish to keep an old car insured. I was told that I could drive my old car on a 3rd party basis as my policy going forward covers me fully comprehensive. I thought fantastic - but then I was shocked when I was told that if I drive the car it is insured 3rd party only but as soon as I park it up somewhere it is uninsured and could be towed away by the police. I have since read my policy document which claim that I can drive any other car 3rd party providing I do not own the car and that there is already insurance in place? Can anyone clarify the above or provide advice. I am so confused and unfortunately are unable to call my insurer back now or over the next couple days? Thanks in advance

I'm a part-time employee that makes about 210-250$ a week. I drive about 50 mi. 4-5 days a week. I am trying to pay for tuition (3000 a quarter) and a cell phone bill as well (100 a month). I just want a rough estimate on what I should need. When I talk to a representative I feel like he wants to get the most out of me. When I try to pick out a quote myself, I tend to think of the worst cast scenario and opt for the better plans. My plans always come-out to be 220 a month. Is that high or just right? I hav heard that you can get a discount on ur car insurance if ur GPA is 3.0 or higher and if you send the company a copy of your report card. But is it okay to send them ur progress report card(the one that comes out in the middle of the quarter)? Or is it okay to send them your report card from the year before(i am currently a junior high school, so is it okay to send them my report card from my sophomore year?)?
